A permanent nursing home stay is not always necessary; Restorative Care is designed to return the resident to a prior level of independent functioning while Respite Care gives relief and support to the caregiver for a limited period of time. Adult Day Care is for particpants who need services during the day only.
Restorative care is directed by a Licensed Nurse and implemented by a trained, CNA/Restorative Aide. Walk to dine, range of motion and prescribed exercises ensure the resident’s functional gains are maintained. Whether a resident remains at Beadles Nursing Home or returns to his/her own home, the goal is the same: enable the person to function at his highest potential.
Respite Care is short term. It permits in-home caregivers to take a vacation, deal with personal health issues or make other necessary appointments. Respite care offers a change of scenery for both persons and gives much needed time for the caregiver.
Adult Day Services are provided to senior adults living with caregivers in a home. The participant may stay at Beadles Nursing Home during the day and join activity programs which are offered to residents. The hourly rate includes meals, activities and medication administration. Rates are based on level of care and arranged with Beadles Nursing Home.
